A pair of fine silver mini-cockle shell earrings on sterling silver ear post with scroll.
Approximately 8 mm x 10mm, cast from a real cockle shell found on a Cornish beach, these pieces are unique and can't be found anywhere else.
Each earring is treated with a light patina which brings out the detail of the shells and highlights the beauty. There is nothing more beautiful than that of natural elements and these are captured forever in these silver pieces.

◦ Handmade Production Method:
These are cast in Fine Silver using moulds taken by me from real sea shells. A sterling silver ear post is soldered on, the pieces are finished and polished, a light patina is added. They are then polished again to bring out the detail and finally, a push back sterling silver butterfly scroll is added.
I choose not to have my pieces hallmarked as they fall below the weight for statutory hallmarking.
